About The UCB Institute of Allergy
This institute was established in the year 1987 for helping scientists, doctors, patients all over the world to combat allergy. The prime objective of the institute is to employ all the necessary resources in order to raise the awareness on allergy as a major health issue amongst public authorities, healthcare professionals, patients, and general public. The institute aims in informing and educating people about allergy, how to improve allergy prevention, promoting allergy research, analyze the current situation, and for defining the key actions that are to be implemented in the coming years.

Throughout the year, The UCB Institute of Allergy conducts several group activities that are listed below:
- The institute has more than 10,000 members all over Europe. The institute develops and disseminates learning and educational tools on allergy types and allergy diseases. Health professionals and patients come for allergic education in the institute where physicians tells them about allergy.
- All the members of the UCB Institute of Allergy enjoy free subscription of the institute’s bimonthly journal Allergy and Clinical Immunology International. Moreover, they also receive various other publications on allergies, which are helpful to both allergic patients and medical professionals. There is a library in the institute that provides a choice of audio and visual information, on loan, to the members.

- The UCB Institute of Allergy sponsors various meetings and conferences on allergy and also offers free teaching aids like journals, CDs, etc. These materials are available in the institute free of cost to all healthcare professionals who have membership.
